Great... another 4 months out of Malaysia...

1. At this point, Id love to have the exams now. So I can have that feeling of fleeting happiness that Im going back.

2. But, too scared because I know nearly nothing about this sem. So I think I need to study now.

3. But I don't feel like studying due to lazyness.

4. Lazyness is making me have more time to myself.

5. More 'me' time causes me to think of home.

6. Cant because I require the internals as well. So I've to stay in Aus and complete them.

7. So when Im supposed to stay, at this moment I will LOOOOOOOOOVE to have the exams now.

This is bad.... this week had 3+ assessments in a row n nx week have another bunch of assessments INCLUDING a final test for maths computing. Without a breather, the final exams timetable will be out. Week after that, my team's devices must be ready for preliminary testin and the following week we have to submit the friggin assignment 3 for computing... goodness gracious.... TRIUMPH only comes when everythin is done...

After my trials, i couldn't get the motivation nor will to update my blog. HAHAHA. Nways...

After the trials, a few classmates and i went to Sunway Pyramid to celebrate. 1st, we went to Wong Kok for lunch...not too bad lar... Then, we went to bowling, unsurprisingly, i had the lowest points. Then, we went to TGV for G-Force. Not bad show as it was quite cute and the concept of guinea pigs being agents seems new. Although it did give a slight Bolt feeling...probably its just because its from Disney as well.

However, when i came back to Melaka. I watched The Ugly Truth and Up (finally).

The Ugly Truth wasn too bad.. It really is an 18+ show as there are many sexual references and graphic sexual intercourse (REALLY). Then, Up...really worth it although i know..i watched it a little too late.

I also finally went out wif some of my friends in Melaka after a long time. Unfortunately, the prank we wanted to do didn't work. HAHAHA (MingZ was soo worried bout someone he didn't realise what it really was about). Afterwards, went to pool at Jetty. I've rusted. HAHAHA.

BTW... on Sunday... it was the best time i had. Although to the end i got sick....hahaha.

Alright, finally i remember about my poll. Lambo seems to have gained the most votes (OH YEA!). Closely followed by Ferrari, Nissan, BMW & Porsche, Audi and Merc & Honda. Not bad hahahaha.

As for my vid post...errr...might take a while...they are many vids and i hv little tolerance (LAZY).

Story : Beginning of the year Chee Kong took Darren as his 'apprentice'. Chee Kong is also well known for his self-named KING-of-EVERYTHING and spec maths aptitude. Finally, ONE FINE DAY...during the last 30 mins of spec maths period as Mr Woon was giving back the latest test paper,

CK came back looking dejectedly at his 53 marks, saying he could not pay much time to the other questions as he spent most the time on the minor questions. He looked kinda emo...

THEN... KuoToong told me, what if Darren get higher marks?
As Darren's name get called up to take his paper from Mr Woon, we looked. Mr Woon gave Darren a small pat on the back and muttered some words which is inaudible at my position. Darren came back to his seat lookin peaky and slightly happy look. KuoToong and I quickly asked for his marks... he showed us his paper n....

y wud they do such a thing... they shud noe the current ed system isn producin anymore high achievers (not thru redistribution of marks) but i see it as undeniably foolish to stop teachin maths n science in english. frankly, they hv oni done this from 2003, u cant expect such a drastic change of achievement in jz a few yrs. things like this require time n patience....

for example, if the 1st batch of students who learnt maths n science in english for spm go to a teaching academy, right now they haven even graduated yet!!!! so they are not givin time for us to produce teachers who are capable of teaching maths n science in english... the situation needs more patience as these teachers require experience in teaching before effective impartion of knowledge.

i bet we are all in agreement that our country isn producin the finest of students wif the brightest of minds... therefore, one of our fightin chances lie in the teachin of maths n science in english!!! as it is the universal language as well.

yes yes...my post is vry biased to opposin the cabinet's decision. however, what are they fightin for?

ok lets start wif the 1st point... teachin maths n science in english DOES NOT put our national language in the drain. in fact, we are pushin our students to be more capable of handling the vast world.

2nd point - honouring our national language... our cabinet wanna help our future generations or wat? we hav enuf subjects in BM already!!! even takin accounts into BM when it provides better exposure to our students if done in english!!!

3rd point - helpin our rural frens. i agree wif elynn bout this one. indeed in rural areas puttin a foreign language will only make them more confused n left out. HOWEVER!!! isn it more practical if we taught M&S in BM for rural areas only? yes, we will make them fall behind. but isn it unfair to hold back the urban students? urban students hv been exposed to english n therefore it seems prudent to allow them to excel further!!!

therefore, my suggestion is to test the rural students in BM while test the urban students in english.

seems biased? well, im sayin it to accomodate EVERYONE. besides, we got lotsa money to make bilingual papers... y dun jz cut the cost to half?

4th point - askin professionals point of view. wat kind of professionals hv been asked? when it comes to askin this, a variety n random professionals must be asked n a large sample size must be taken (nvr learn statistics ar?).

5th point - i explained it above d...nvr giv time to produce a new generation of english teachers after tat void era.

i noe its unbelievably biased but, i hope they realise wat our ed system is established to do which is to :

Melahirkan bangsa Malaysia yang taat setia dan bersatupadu.
Melahirkan insan yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, berilmu, berketerampilan dan sejahtera.
Menyediakan sumber tenaga manusia untuk keperluan kemajuan negara.

After tat, go cont the house visitin. Went to YH's 1st to say goodbye (go back NS later this day). Then go Desmond's house. Haha gamble summore. Then go back to TS's bcos lazy wan visit d (so tired).

Stin called Mau, Shan, Terrence, Shaun & I go makan at US Pizza for his bday. He ordered 1 regular & 2 large pizzas. So much but we can finish it all!!! (miracle happened here...). Later we go watch movie (Inkheart). Rated 2.6/5.0...y le? There were no thrills (the plot was pretty obvious) & at a certain point the story bcame fictional even for a fictional story... I wun giv examples in case there're ppl out there who hates spoilers.

After tat proceeded to lepakin around DP. After tat, when we were goin home, i tumpang Shaun's kereta (Shaun drive). Okla better than James's (his wan u wish u were walkin).

Oh yeah, man. For all those who're currently out there doin some jobs, at last some labourless money coming your way!!!

Yesterday, me, James, Joachim, Shaun & Justin went to school to visit some of our teachers. Actually, I also went there to give my SPM reference books to the library & return the Solid Edge Books to Ms. Hanim.

So many things happened in such a short time...

1. Ms. Hanim has transferred school bcos her house is so far away. (So had to pass the Solid Edge Books to my grand-aunty to give it to the new teacher in charge.)
2. Pn. Goh Bee Peng is pregnant wif her 3rd/4th child!!! She even said 7 months d (tat makes it bout July/August...durin which we're still studyin under her!! Never noticed at all!!)

3. Mr Ong will be officially retiring from being principal on the 22nd of October (I think).

Wahahaha. Went to go eat lunch afterwards at Classic Kopitiam. Not bad la but its either Shaun's drink & mine were the same OR Carrot Orange Juice & Fresh Orange Juice is the same (didn matter, we juz drank whatever came in front of us).

Later went to the arcade in DP. Played Time Crisis 3 wif Justin (I died very easily whereas Justin got to play all the way to the end...). Whereas James & Joachim tried House of the Dead. Shaun juz played Daytona wif other ppl.

After tat go watch movie (Four Christmases). Not bad show but its a bit short (1h 15mins). Rated 3.7/5.0 (based on a length to satisfaction ratio). Later go lepakin & it all goes down from here.

Okla tats all for today...cant wait for CNY to come (1 WEEK OF HOLIDAYS!!!)

1st weekend back from KL

The entire week was terrible. It was so nice to be back in Melaka where everythin is much simpler. Yesterday went out wif frens go lepak in MP. Met Ming Zhe n we disturbed Gary n Matt who're workin (in the middle of the main centre of MP for Digi). We were then joined by Ejynn, Shaun n Kerk. Matt n Gary took an hour off to go makan wif us at the food court.

Later we had to say goodbye to Matt n Gary bcos their work ends at 10pm. The remainin group then went to SurfZone for some games. We played CS for a lil while (suddenly got bored of it) n Starcraft (bad choice, Ejynn was left too long to build some wonderful defence). The game dragged too long tat we all gave up.

Went to DP to disturb Ah Long (KangSheng) at Padini (hes workin at the women's section). We talked to him n kacau the clothes (making him havin to lipat all the baju himself). Was so happy to be outta there (a group of guys in tat section??). Aiya after tat like nuthin d. So we went to Kaizer. Gary wanna kena kill. Food where got nice? A lot of lalat oso. Chicken was tasteless n Shaun had a stomach-ache halfway finishin his food. MingZ thinks Gary said nice bcos he went there wif sum1 else (not gonna say who).

OKla tats it from the outin. But i feel happier than ever. 1 thing i miss most of Melaka is still my frens. Sobs...might have to endure another gruellin week or mayb two....

Waaa.... lemah man 1st week. So many things to think about...read entire chapters, lotsa howework d summore & wat books to buy (the list dun hv all required books)... So, like school la. except like floatin classes. Not bad tho, new frens, new experience & BETTER TEACHERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahah. Hmm wat else to say summore...oh yea they sed SAM is tough but if its this hard already in the beginnin....habisla me. On top of homework hv to find topic to present to the teacher. Sial man...wat topic to do??? Oh yea, 1st day got HW bout 'myself'. HAHA I juz write 3 lines oni (damn lazy & cant write elaborately nymore).

Currently back in Melaka. Thanks to James's dad for fetchin us back. I was so homesick tat I felt happy to be back in Melaka.

Thx u all for the well-wishes!!! Came to Subang...like a deer enterin a village sial (the whole place is so confusin tat i think i will need a few days or mayb weeks to be oriented.

OK enough of tat. 1st day yeh...difficult d. Luckily got James & Cher Pin to talk to. All of them there so different way of speakin. Of cos la since i kampung boy... I couldn sleep early nymore (sleep at 1.40am wake up 7.00am). Go orientation half asleep & i cannot hear half of wat they r sayin. Then got separate classes. 1 class about 15 ppl oni (like tuition haha). After orientation, James called me & asked me to go to lunch wif him n Cher Pin. Aiyo cannot follow, got a heavy box of new books & i needed to put them in my aunt's house. I went back to my aunt's house...haha sesat even tho the house was right beside me. Then Chingy called me to go to his party. LAWE!!! Wanna go but cannot..bcos:

1. He dunno how to fetch me (even if wanted to walk to Taylor's for him to fetch me also cannot. My aunt & mentor told me this area not really safe)
2. No transport (my bro put me down & go work d)

Not bad la all-in-all but I woke up wif a huge headache & a stomachache...
Tats all I can remember so far. 1st day is really hectic & my brain wasn really perceivin everythin...

Feels like goin back to school....whats worse, I'll be livin away from Melaka. Damn...gonna miss a lot of frens. Startin tomoro & Im leavin later today (about after lunch) to Subang (my relative's house to be exact).

Haha, I was able to pack in an hour (more like tuang all my needed clothes into the bag & forcin it shut). Tomoro I might not be able to update my blog on my 1st day into tertiary studies (SAM at Taylor's College) bcos my relative's house is full of computer addicts. Best thing still, I can wear any shirt, any pants, any shoes!!! Not like secondary school & its a good change to get out of that monotony.

Not much to talk about now. Feelin very nervous of course (mayb thats causin some writer's block) & I can feel the butterflies in my stomach so much that I feel like shittin. Haha

OK. Better get myself mentally prepared for whats gonna hit me. Or Im gonna get a culture shock.

Woohoo!!! The end of the terrible 2008 is here!!! N comes 2009 wif new hopes n dreams!!! Not a bad endin altho it didn end wif a bang for a couple of us...

We began by goin to watch Bedtime Stories wif a large gang of frens. I'll gladly rate the show as a good 4.2/5.0 !!! Its a real funny show (duh Adam Sandler~~) & it didn bore me for one bit.

Went to McD afterwards to eat somethin (bcos didn eat dinner; gather at 6.30)

After tat, we proceeded to Jonker to do countdown...Gave up cos too crowded...so decided to juz go Shaun's house for a mini countdown party. HAHAHA Jonker to PSettlement??? End up Gary & Hosin hv to fetch the rest of us. Reach there d wow man... the settlement was not lively as it was in Christmas Eve (mayb spent to much energy for Pak Lah). Juz a bit of firecrackers by a few houses. But when the clock struck 12, a huge amount of fireworks erupted from all sides!!!! Eventho there werent many ppl (accordin to wat I heard, more than at Jonker where there is a huger crowd!!!). Then we juz played some games & chatted in Shaun's house (Shaun kena whack by his lil 4 y.o. sis teruk teruk...)

Nuthin much la but at least better than my previous New Year Celebration in the car!!! (Damn)

Christmas Celebrations!!!

Haha seein tat Christmas is celebrated in more than a day, Im gonna split this post into multiple parts.

Let's start wif

24/12 - Wed - Christmas Eve
Had plans to go to Portugese Settlement. So we were supposed to meet up at ThyeSiang's house to walk/carpool to the settlement at 7pm. Haha had to meet early to avoid jam so I wanted to eat early but dinner was not cooked yet...I settled for a packet of instant noodles. We walked to the settlement from TS's house > KW's > KimChern's > WeiJie's before reachin. The 'rombongan' consisted of TS, Gary, Jared, KW, KimChern, WeiJie & I.

Due to our over-earliness, we arrived at Shaun's house at 8 somethin (he wasn home of course). So we sat at the beachside & talked while washin our eyes. Haha the sea cockroach scared the shit outta him. So we waited, got separated in the crowd, regrouped, waited, got lost again until 10.30pm . Tat was when we finally bought the spray cans & a few moments after someone got it, I received a full blast into my eyes!!!! OUCH MAN!!! Took awhile for the foam to leave my eyes. Damn itchy & blur. Frankly, those sprays arent exactly friendly bcos if sprayed excessively, it can cause chokin, stomach discomfort (unfortunately, I terswallow some), coughin & sneezin. These symptoms were in peak when the clock striked 12am : everybody was wishin (or screamin) MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! to each other while sprayin at obnoxious gas into the air & at random people. Enjoyable but wif side effects. After 12am, we pushed our way thru the crowd & headed for Shaun's house where we caught our breath for air & some water. After tat, we went to a mamak & ate some supper & then I only realised I have lived off a packet of noodles from 7pm to 2am. Haha it was nearly 3am when we finally dispersed. So, I had to sleep over at TS's house.

25/12 - Thu - Christmas Day

I explained the most important events of the day in the 24th. But I finally went home at 11.30am after lepakin at TS's. A few moments later, I had to go out again to my dad's fren's Christmas Lunch Party. WOOHOO the food was simply superb!!! Finally went home & got some good rest.

26/12 - Fri - Still alotta Christmas mood
Shaun invited all of us to his house for a dinner party. Again!!! More delicious food. I think a ate a good amount these days tat I went rounder (Boss & Terrence were so kind to notify me). Thanks Shaun for the food man...I dun mind gettin rounder as long as I get the good food HAHAHAH. So we lepaked at Shaun's until nearly midnight. Among the things we did there :
1. Watched our fellow gang play Fifa 09 as tho it was really happenin (all high d)
2. Bickered bout whether to go midnight movie or buy a DVD & watched usin Shaun's plasma TV. We agreed to the latter & bought Ip Man. But when the disc arrived at Shaun's, some ppl wanted to go to a movie instead... (Geram betul, I used my money to buy tat DVD). So we followed Gary's & TS's cars to DP but some of us needed to do pit stops at their houses. I was in Gary's car wif Jared, Tong & KW. KW had to balik rumah to get the house keys. HAHA his parents muz be furious wif him bcos he had to run outta his house like a prison escapee. We arrived at DP at bout 12am.. so, more of the outin on the 27th.

27/12 - Sat - Crazy Day

We went to GSC & compromised for a movie all of us can watch. So, we settled for 'The Spirit' seein tat KW had already watched 'Yes Man'. I had to buy a cup of coffee to keep me awake!!!

Y 2.1??? I'll tell u y. This show seems a like a low budget movie wif their inclusion of cartoon-ish scenes, major plot holes & the over repetition of fight, hot girl, fight, hot girl, fight,.... On & on & on. Not tat I dun like the hot girls but I wanna c some character progress. This movie is highly not recommended unless u hav a more open-mind or u're juz there to c some chicks (no nudity for all u sick ppl searchin for tat). I could even sleep for a few minutes!!!

Waste it.

After tat dissappointin movie, we headed for sleep. Since it was already 2am & most of us were too fatigued to drive long distances, we headed for KimChern's house where Tong, Gary, Jared & I slept over. Instead of sleepin, we ended up playin UNO & card games up till 5am. My mind was soo blur I kept losin bcos I was lackin sleep. After the games, we decided it best to sleep. But again deprived of tat luxury bcos we talked until 7am. At least we gained a few knowlege like Tong has a very unique snore & Jared cant sleep at all (he stayed up all day).

Then, I headed home for more sleep at 1.30pm!!! I couldn wake up until dinner...

Long Post : Sunway Lagoon Outing 22/12

Yea I know its a pretty long time ago but I didn have the chance to update my blog. Well, here goes...

Had to get up about 5.45am juz to wake the rest of the group... Dammit man. As if the Maths Marathon wasn tirin enough.

We (Gary, Matthew, Kinn Weng, Thye Siang & I) gathered at Melaka Sentral at about 6.45am & waited for our bus. We saw an unknown bus leavin the station at about 7am but didn care (We tot our bus was a Transnasional bus). But then, we asked the counter "Where is the 7am Transnasional bus to KL?" n she said "Dah pergi...". WAARRGHH!! So we asked her if there is another bus leavin for KL early too. Luckily there was a 7.30am bus BUT we hav to pay an extra RM 7.90 each. (*sighs*)

IZ : Haha. I noe u finding for chio bu. Behind got 2.
KW : I noe. Got 1 wif blue Nike top (he can c tho isn wearin specs & didn actually look back!!! Impressive)
IZ : Waa. Can tell me wat type summore.

(Boarded the Log Flume but there were oni 2 of us. So the worker called the line for another 2 fellas. Hahah. The pair of girls wanted to skip the line so they joined us. KW was so happy.)

After the ride
KW : Hey IZ, ur prophecy came true…
IZ : Prophecy? Wat prophecy?
KW : There, the prophecy tat the 2 girls u referred to earlier joined us.
IZ : I mana tau. Lucky la.
(Met the rest.)
TS : Y I folo Matt & Gary???
IZ : Didn noe la…
GL : So. In the dark wat happened? (There was a pretty long period of time where the ride enters a cave & everythin went black.) Expectin baby d.

(Then we kept arguing all the way to the next ride.)

We returned to our hotel, Sun Inns. I tell u, its SOO small!! A queen-sized bed only & a lil bit of foot space. Haha. Look at the picts to get a better picture.

The room got lipas wan. KW actually smashed one & put his ‘pillow’ on it & slept on it.

Next morning all wake up so groggy & sleepy. But hav to take early town bus to begin journey to Times Square.

Found a book in Borders, Times Square. It had St. Francis Institution inside.

After more window shoppin & walkin, we took our dunch or linner (whichever as long as its lunch+dinner) at Hartz Chicken Buffet. Whoa!! We were so hungry as our breakfast was mostly Maggi-in-a-cup or a few pieces of bread. Ate as much as we could hav ever eaten.

Gary eat until tak tahan d.

Then everythin went downhill from here… Haiz… Go walk to Pudu & waited for our return bus home. We even brought a few of our lil frens from the hotel room wif us!!! (cockroaches)

The Mathematics Marathon 08

As I sed, I went to the Maths Marathon 08 at HELP Institute, Damansara. Fuh, findin the place was really difficult seein tat the college is actually underground (no, seriously)!!!!
I was there together wif my team members Hong Joo n Jared & another team comprisin of Kin Wai, Sivaraj n Kang Sheng . There were about 57 teams altogether from all across the country.

The competition was tough. Many teams came from elite schools or chinese independent schools whose maths was godlike. No chance for us, the simple Malaccans. But I like the part when I was called in to do the Sudoku. All player 2 are to start on 11am but I had 5mins xtra cos Hong Joo finished his maths paper early (the competition is like a relay race). So I started on 10.55am. The Sudoku was not wat I expected...cos it was far easier. Hence, I was able to finish all 3 Sudokus in 10 MINUTES!!! Hehe, the kor-kors n chie-chies there were so surprised to c my hand up 5mins after 11am. They kept lookin at their watches n they showed total disbelief. HAHAHA their faces were priceless. Needless to say, I was able to giv Jared a 25minute head-start wif the IQ Test.

Unfortunately, we werent able to get to the top 8 places cos as I say, our competition were super-great-minds. But at least I didn go back empty handed!! Bcos there were side-competitons at the main lobby (try to be the fastest to solve a minesweeper game, Rubiks cube or tat guidin-a-rod-thru-an-electric-maze-thingy(not sure wats it called)). I was able to solve the Rubiks cube at 1.27minutes & I was awarded the fastest solver in the 1-2pm hour (these competitions was held hourly). N I got myself a mug wif a lion on it....ahahah

Later tat day, after dinner, Jared, Hong Joo n I went to Sunway Pyramid to watch a movie. But cant watch Bolt cos Jared watched it d. So, we settled for a show which I doubt will reach Melaka. The show was Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Initially, I was skeptical bcos the title wasn appealin to me (snog instead of kiss??) but I couldn care (juz buy the ticket n watch the friggin show). When it started, oh it was a chick flick (shudve known) & OHHH-SOOOOOO-BRITISH!!!! However, it was funny but the plot was not challengin tho its gud since ive hardly watched any chick flicks. I'll giv it a rating of 3.2/5 (s
ry Jared). The show is pretty open-minded bcos the producers dun bother bout showin a 40+ year old woman wearin thongs (some of u might say so wat? but to me its really disgustin). Tho u can learn a thing or 2 from here like the Kiss Scale or wat nunga-nunga means.

After tat, we had no idea wat to do. So, we went window shoppin n this archery range caught me eye. Me n Jared played while Hong Joo didn want to (didn noe y, he seems to be SMSin the whole day). The picts r comin later cos Jared has not uploaded them into his com yet. W8 for it!!!

So tats it!!! The outin was vry fun & I was able to be aquainted wif Dota players from Kuantan n KL. Tats it for today n w8 for the post on the Sunway Lagoon's outing!!!

Currently nuthin is happenin....but i'll be gone for 2 days to go to the Maths Marathon 08 at HELP University. Gonna do Sudoku's....my all-time-favourite-time-wastin-mechanism.
Im supposed to do 3 Sudoku's in 30 FREAKIN MINUTES!!!
Hopefully I can get it la then can giv any fren the price scholarship at HELP. (1st place is RM18000 worth of scholarship to do A-levels!!!!) Tho it sounds crazy to giv this thing but I have already enrolled in Taylor's to do SAM... So, even if I win anything it wud be nuthin to me. Haha.

I'll try to get somemore picts cos I hardly end up in front of the camera.. (Sighs)

Okay... this is my very 1st time bloggin. Haha juz made after readin other ppl's blogs. Not bad, pretty good place to express... Haha probably juz too bored cos now is the "depression time". Haih... Nothing to do, no plan, no event... Can go insane!!!

Nyways, haha hopefully i have enough energy to even update this blog.
